World in Need - This is one of the very few ministries that has a sponsorship program for impoverished Afghani children.  We are currently working with them in a number of areas.  This ministry has a strong community development component.  Please feel free to contact Nancy George at nancy@winint.org

 

Pakistan
Grace Ministries is currently involved in several different ministries.  These include church planting, women's ministries, adult literacy, child sponsorship, youth ministries, pastoral training, community development and special outreach in the Kashmir area in Northern Pakistan.  For more information please contact Rev. Illumination Village Literacy Inc. is a ministry that was founded by our director's Father in 1994.  It focuses primarily on literacy work in several areas in Pakistan. India

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Chennai has many different outreaches in the city: a children's school and daycare, street kid rescue/restoration, leprosy and AIDS relief, suicide prevention. They also minister to the fisherman village and other areas affected by the 2004 Tsunami.
